Sunway IGSC, in collaboration with REHDA Institute, co-organised the Malaysia Property Development Process (MPDP) 2025 workshops in Penang and Johor.
Sunway IGSC organised a workshop in collaboration with the School of Mathematical Sciences, providing participants with a comprehensive platform to enhance their data analysis skills. The workshop, attended by over 20 colleagues from ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and Sunway College, featured three key modules: Basics with R, Data Manipulation with dplyr and (gg)Plot Your Data! (Data Visualization).
The Sunway Institute for Global Strategy and Competitiveness (Sunway IGSC) is dedicated to ensuring that our ongoing PhD students receive the support they need throughout their research journey. To strengthen this effort, IGSC holds monthly meetings that serve as a platform for students to share progress, exchange ideas, and seek guidance from peers and supervisors.
On 9–10 November, the Sunway IGSC team hosted Dr Zainudin, a renowned statistician, for an in-depth training on Categorical/Survey Data Analysis. The session covered Chi-square tests, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Binary Logistic Regression, and Non-parametric tests using tools like SPSS and Minitab. Dr Zainudin’s clear and engaging teaching made complex concepts accessible, while his insights on how varying standards across fields influence data analysis provided a fresh perspective, particularly for the social sciences.
