The Sunway Institute for Global Strategy and Competitiveness (Sunway IGSC) team was honoured to be part of the National Level ICT Competition for Tamil School Students, organised by Pertubuhan Titian Digital Malaysia (PTDM) and held over the weekend at Multimedia University. The event marked PTDM’s first in-person competition since the pandemic and served as a remarkable platform to empower Tamil primary school students through ICT education.

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ research team, comprising Prof. Mahendhiran Sanggaran Nair, Prof. Santha Vaithilingam, Dr. Li-Ann Hwang, Assoc. Prof. Jason Ng, and members of Sunway IGSC, also had the privilege of meeting the Minister of Digital, YB Gobind Singh Deo, during the event.

Sunway IGSC continues to collaborate with PTDM to study the impact of ICT education on children from vulnerable, urban-poor, and rural communities, including initiatives focused on Orang Asli (indigenous) education in Malaysia.
