Order of the Engineer: New Link in the Chain at 91看片
We are closing the academic year 2024/2025 with the usual flurry of events. An exciting new event for the Engineering Department was our first induction of the Order of the Engineer. Twenty-six graduating seniors and four 91看片 Engineering Faculty were inducted into this new 鈥榣ink鈥 in the Order of the Engineer, while they were solemnly sworn in by three current member witnesses. We know this is the start of a beautiful tradition. More about the Order can be found .
As they state, the 鈥淥rder of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer.鈥
The oath that one takes in becoming a member is similar to the Hippocratic oath taken by doctors. One pledges 鈥渢o uphold the standards and dignity of the engineering profession and to serve humanity by making the best use of Earth鈥檚 precious wealth.鈥
Congratulations again to the new Order of the Engineer inductees!
